Cancelation Policy


Please Note: We request a minimum of 24-hour notice upon cancelling scheduled services, experiences, or tours through our website. Failure to do so before the 24-hour time frame will result in a non-refundable service. The host of the service, experience or tour may contact the customer with a cancellation within the 24-hour time frame due to less-than-optimal weather conditions that may create an impediment to the safety of the customer. If the host fails to appear for the service without notice, the liability relies upon them as an independent contractor and Malihini Adventures LLC does not hold liability for their lack of appearance. Money provided for the services promised will be returned and opportunities to reschedule, available.

Notifying before 24 hours will result in no penalty, an opportunity to reschedule for a later date/time, or a 50% refund for the service. Cancellations made via customer’s email to info@malihiniadventures.com sooner than 24 hours prior to service will be processed with penalty of only 50% refund as aforementioned. Cancellations made 24 hours or less before a booked service appointment will be subject to charge half of the service rate. This includes appointments where customer is unable to access the location proposed or is unavailable. Please communicate your cancellations via the email address provided. If Malihini Adventures LLC or independent contractors thereof, cancels an appointment with less than a 24 hour notice, a new service may be scheduled without penalty to the client and subject to availability of the service provider.

Please note that once you have booked a service through our website, it means that our Affiliates have reserved that time in their schedule exclusively for you. If you cancel your appointment with less than 24 hours before it is scheduled, you will be subject to a fee in the form of no refund. To avoid said cancellation fee, please provide cancellation notice at least 24 hours prior to your booked service time. You can cancel or reschedule by emailing us at info@malihiniadventures.com. If you fail to show up within 15 minutes of the start time of the experience, it will be considered a cancellation and the same rules apply as a less than 24 hour notice. The Experience Affiliate has the right to begin the service without your presence or abandon the service if no one has presented themselves for the service.

Please note that this cancellation policy applies to our Local Experiences services only, and any bookings made with our Premium Experiences are subject to Cancellation Policies provided by those businesses respectively as they act independently from Malihini Adventures. If you are needing to reschedule or cancel a booking made with one of our Premium Experiences, please contact them in a timely manner and through their preferred means of communication as expressed on their individual websites.
